Casa en el Uro was designed by 7XA Architects and is located in el Uro, Mexico. For us it is a showcase of contemporary architecture in its most intricate form. This residence consists of various volumes in shape and size which connect in unexpected ways, creating unexpected angles. The shape of the house “outlines” a generous green space and a large pool which contrast nicely with the white exterior walls of the building. The overall opulence is taken to another level as one steps inside. The enormous rooms, floor to ceiling windows, high-end arrangements and craving for colors make this home resemble a miniature royal settlement. Modern furniture elements combine with more traditional-shaped ones (the chairs in the dining room for example) in creating a home that is both luxurious and diverse.
